Transportation will leave from the Hampton Inn in Carrboro at 3:30 PM, taking you to the Saxaphaw Rivermill.

After a brief but eventful ceremony, cocktail hour will take place on the balcony before entering the ballroom for dinner, drinks, and dancing.

At 10pm, guests will be transported to the afterparty and hotel.

Keep the party going with drinks and free-play arcade machines all night long. Rumor has it there might be pizza.

Buses!

Carrboro and Chapel Hill offer free transportation so you can save your feet for dancing. The J and CW buses run up and down Main Street and Franklin Street all day on Saturdays. See the route maps here.

Coffee!

Gray Squirrel Coffee is right next to the hotel and just so happens to be a favorite. Epilogue has great coffee and loads of books.

Breakfast!

Walk over to Brandwein's Bagels or Neal's Deli for a casual breakfast.
Check out Breakaway Cafe or Carolina Coffee Shop for something seated.

Lunch!

Carrburritos is a long-time favorite and a Carrboro staple. Spotted Dog is great, especially if you're looking for something creative and plant-based. Head to Med Deli for something incredible, provided they've reopened by then (there was a fire. It sucked.).

The Arts!

Head to campus for the Ackland Art Museum and Coker Arboretum.
See some funky art and zines across from the hotel at Peel or next door at the Carrboro Arts Center.

Lodging!

We recommend staying at or near the Hampton Inn in Carrboro. Transportation will be provided round trip from there to the venue, and it is a short walk from that hotel to both the welcome drinks and the wedding afterparty.

For locals, parking is free in the municipal lot behind the hotel.

Getting here!

The closest airport is Raleigh-Durham International (RDU). It's ~25 minutes away from Carrboro.

Rideshare apps and airport taxis are readily available to get you from the airport to the hotel.

Dress code!

The dress code is "Cocktail," but it'd be pretty rad if you made it colorful.

Weather!

Our wedding will be an indoor/outdoor event (weather permitting), and November in North Carolina can be chilly. Or it can be hot. Plan on sitting outside for the ceremony.

Children!

Our wedding is 18+... for legal reasons.

Children are allowed at the welcome party Friday night, but it's a two drink minimum.

We don't have a registry, but we're using Honeyfund to take any donations you'd like to make to our 2026 Honeymoon.
